About The Haroldon Apartments 1020 Post, 1020 Post brings the best of Lower Nob Hill and beyond to your doorstep. Built in 1915, 1020 Post – formerly the Haroldon Apartments, as commemorated on plaques flanking the entrance – is part of the National Register of Historic Places in the Lower Nob Hill Apartment Hotel District. Its architectural touches include a beautiful brick exterior and ornamented gate, which give way to a large foyer with gold accents and a hardwood floored lobby. Look closely and you may be able to see it in the opening scene of Venom, starring Tom Hardy, which filmed in the adjacent Hemlock Alley.
