The Lillian and Samuel Hechtman Apartments in West Bloomfield, Michigan, located on the Eugene and Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus, consists of 198 Independent Living residences located in two buildings. Hechtman I offers 102 one-bedroom HUD subsidized apartments and is open to persons 62 and older and disabled persons at least 18 years or older who require the accessible design features of our units. Rents are subsidized through the Department of Housing and Urban Development based on income. Hechtman II offers 96 one-bedroom market rate apartments with spacious and open floor plans providing an ideal option for those 62 and older to call home.
