About
Historic Hutton-Turnbull-Mulvey House – A Grand Ledge Landmark Built in 1873 by Caleb Hutton, this remarkable home began as an Italianate Villa before Edward Turnbull transformed it into a Colonial Revival mansion in 1899. Once Grand Ledge’s largest residence, it boasts a unique blend of architectural styles, a grand third-floor ballroom, intricate woodwork, and elegant 10-foot ceilings. The property includes a historic carriage house and retains much of its original charm. Carefully converted into several spacious apartments in the 1950s, the home continues to blend old-world elegance with modern living, standing as an enduring icon of Grand Ledge history.
