Park Cooperative Apartments is a 13-unit, resident-owned and controlled housing cooperative located in the Central Neighborhood of South Minneapolis. Established in 1977 by means of an occupant organized rent strike against a neglectful landlord, Park Co-op Apartments has remained an asset to the community through our dedication to provide accessible, affordable, and quality housing in a uniquely democratic environment. Though there is no “buy-in” fee, nor private equity gained in becoming a member of Park Co-op Apartments, we are all “member-owners” responsible to our cooperative housing business, as well as, to each other as neighbors and business partners.
