Lyon School was built in 1910 and designed by famous architect, William B. Ittner. It was named after Nathaniel Lyon, a Union General in the Civil War and was an elementary school up until it was closed in 2010. It re-opened as Lyon School Apartments in summer of 2020, offering 32 studio, 1BR & 2BR loft homes. Residents of Lyon School Apartments will be able to enjoy the state of the art, 24hr fitness center, club room with pool table, bike storage room, outdoor grilling area, dog washing station and complementary WiFi.
