The Glenn is located in the historic Hawthorne District replete with sumptuous bistros and restaurants and eclectic boutiques to delight the senses of everyone. Built in 1915, it features the Praire style architecture that was prevalent in this era. This is evident in simple, clean lines and low-pitched hipped roofs and unique awning windows. The entry evokes a slightly Art Deco feel with the gentle curve of the lintel brackets and arch over the marble steps. The lobby carries the marble theme up the generous staircase and provides glimpses of the stunning Florida Room areas on each floors’ elevated landings. Rich, dark trim runs throughout the halls and staircases and period style lighting creates a warm glow on the hardwoods.
