The Porter Furniture Building is a landmark of Lancaster City. Approximately 125 years old the building began as the Lancaster Cigar & Tobacco Co. in 1902. Between 1979 and 2010 it was home to Porter Furniture. In 2016 the building was purchased and taken down to its shell before being rebuilt into 24 high end luxury apartments. The 40,000 square foot building boasts units with high ceilings, original hardwood floors and open and spacious floor plans and character that can only be found in a building with history.
