Elm Manor Homes is a community for independent seniors age 62 and older. Rent is based on income. Persons wishing to reside at Elm Manor must have an adjusted income which does not exceed federally established income limits for the Roanoke area. The amount paid for rent, including a utility allowance, will not exceed 30% of an eligible resident’s adjusted income. Elm Manor is an attractively designed, elevator-equipped community offering studio and one bedroom apartments with kitchens, ovens, and refrigerators. Residents furnish their apartments with favorite personal belongings. It is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Roanoke and is on the city bus line.
